Jakob is an award-winning writer, director and producer from Canada who first gained notoriety as co-creator of the Toronto sketch comedy duo Fun Uncle. Jakob has written, produced and directed countless comedy sketches and short films which have been featured on CBC and Funny or Die. His debut feature screenplay Vampire Zombies… from Space! was optioned and produced in 2022, and is slated for a festival run later this year. Jakob’s latest short Your Money’s No Good Here will have its world premiere at the 2023 Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal. Jakob is not currently represented.

In addition to writing and directing, Jakob is an accomplished producer; most recently on the MTV / Paramount series The Challenge. Additionally, Jakob has worked on series including Survivor, Nathan for You, Decker, and Big Brother Canada.
